Max Healthcare is expanding its footprint into Gujarat by developing an 800-bed multi-speciality hospital.
This initiative follows a high-level discussion in Delhi between Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Max Healthcare Chairman and Managing Director Abhay Soi. Beyond the initial hospital project, the group is evaluating subsequent expansions into other key urban centres like Gandhinagar and Surat.
The venture aligns with Max Healthcare's broader corporate objective to scale its network capacity to 10,000 beds over the next three to four years. State leadership has credited Gujarat's progressive urban planning and favorable Floor Space Index (FSI) frameworks as key catalysts in attracting this large-scale private medical infrastructure investment.
